‘’It is most laudable that Confederation of Young Leaders has engaged more than 50,000 youth in programs to shape it as a fountainhead of knowledge for youth to help redefine the dynamics of growth and development in the 21 century. Young people are change agents and a vibrant source of innovation, and they have the power to influence and the potential to shape the development path of their nation. The platform created by CYL. allows the youth and youth organizations to participate in the decision making process, activate social responsibility and engage with government/private institutions and foreign missions to build a more peaceful future for themselves and in turn for others, The responsibility assumed by CYL will help to ensure that growth and development in the 21st century is safe and secure through initiatives such as strategic linkages and Track-Il Diplomatic Dialogues to promote people to people partnership. It is also encouraging that despite being in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic and facing the related challenges, CYL continues to operate in a manner that is responsible and prudent to achieve its vision and objectives. I am confident that Confederation will continue with its good work to ensure that the voices of the young people are heard and understood, both at the national and international level.
