Padma Vibhushan Hon’ble Dr. Sonal Mansingh is a Member of the Indian Parliament (Rajya Sabha); India’s Legendary Cultural Icon and Prime Minister of India’s nominated Navratna for Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (Clean India Program). Dr. Sonal Mansingh is a globally renowned Indian Classical Dancer and the recipient of one of India’s highest civilian honours including the Padma Vibhushan by the Hon’ble President of India. In 2017, her biography, titled, “Sonal Mansingh: A Life Like No Other”, was authored by an eminent writer Ms. Sujata Prasad and the documentary based on her life directed by eminent director Mr. Prakash Jha won the National Film Award.

Dr. Sonal Mansingh is also the Trustee of the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts, Ministry of Culture. She has contributed a number of articles on dance and Indian culture in various magazines and newspapers globally and has served as Chairperson of the Central Sangeet Natak Akademi and several other official and cultural bodies.
